Discover the profound essence of Black Girl Magic at the Museum for Black Girls, where we celebrate, educate, and honor the journey and liberation of Black women. More than a trend, Black Girl Magic embodies the resilience and beauty of Black women, and our museum is a dedicated space to embrace and showcase this essence.
In December 2019, we transformed a beautiful boutique into an immersive, interactive pop-up gallery featuring multiple vibrant exhibits. Initially a one-night event to honor Black girls, our museum has evolved into a permanent, traveling exhibition. From Denver to Houston and Washington D.C. As of 2024, thousands of visitors nationwide have experienced our celebration of Black Girl Magic, while our social media reach has connected with over 6.8 Million people.
Rooted in community and creativity, our museum is a heartfelt celebration of self-love and an homage to Black women's experiences. Created through grassroots efforts and collaborations with local artists and families, every installation is a testament to Black Girl Magic moments and memories.
